hello everyone
this is just an announcement to let you know that planning has begun
for Bazaar Bizarre 2005. As usual the event will be held in
December, but we are in the process of nailing down a specific date
and venue - we are very close.
things to look for:
-within the next month or so we will be posting the 2005 vendor
application to the website. THERE IS NO APPLICATION AVAILABLE JUST
YET - BUT SOON.
i will post an announcement to this list when it becomes available
-we are redesigning our website and it will "go live," as they say,
when the application is posted
wanna help?
-we are looking for an experienced publicist with national press
experience and connections to join our team. please let me know if
you'd be interested. please be aware that this is a strictly
volunteer gig. none of us get paid to do any of this. we just do it
cuz we love crafts
-we also need to fill the post of volunteer coordinator. a great
volunteer coordinator is charismatic and flexible
-i am trying to collect any and all documentation of past bazaars
that i can get my hands on. do you have video? photos? please let
me know!
BAZAAR BIZARRE the book is now available for pre-order on
amazon.com. just do a search for "bazaar bizarre" and you'll find
the book i have spent the last year writing. it's a collection of
projects designed by past BazBiz crafters as well as a buncha goofy
essays. i think you even get a few bucks off if you pre-order. the
book is being published by Penguin/Viking and will hit shelves
October 20th, 2005
